BROADCAST QUALITY STUDIO
You can trust my studio to capture all the nuances of my voice with state-of-the-art broadcast-quality equipment.
I have been recording, editing and producing audio since 1975 as my first job with Piccadilly Radio in Manchester, UK. Over the years, my skills have honed and I have kept up to date with the latest technologies.
For the last 12 years, I also have trained others on audio production and have over 74,000 students who have bought my 5 star reviewed courses on VoiceoverMasterclass.com; you’re welcome to check the link out if you’re interested.
Today I have a state of the art recording booth and studio with a Neumann U87 microphone, a Kube custom vocal booth offering a quiet -72dB noise floor and the latest Focusrite AD converter and fully solid state computers, with Yamaha top of the range monitors. I also have a smaller booth with a Neumann TLM 103 microphone.
I have a full subscription to Source Connect Standard or you can direct me via SessionLink Pro, Zoom, Teams, Skype or any other method!
Your voiceover recordings will be recorded and edited exactly to your needs, but if you’re not technical, don’t worry. If you don’t specify technical parameters, you’ll receive recordings to top broadcast quality specifications. The audio files will be wav format, 24 bit, 48KHz sampling, with mp3 copy.
Levels will be optimised to -3dB normalization, and lightly compressed in Adobe Audition for voice to sound rich and with presence and to help any narration track to become clear when mixed with music.
Large distracting breaths will be reduced or removed as part of every job. Voice acting work will of course be left “au natural” with no compression or breath removal to sound completely real.
I also am skilled with Adobe Premiere Pro video editing software, so if you need my voice to be sync’d with an existing video, please send the video along with the script and I can offer that service too, please ask for a quote.
